At ColorPaw, we care about your privacy and want to be upfront about how we handle your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we keep it safe. The short version: we collect only what we need, we don't sell your data, and your pet photos are not stored long-term.
- Email address — Collected when you create an account or download your free coloring page. Used for account management, order confirmations, and marketing communications (with your consent).
- Pet photos you upload — Used solely to generate your coloring page outline. Photos are processed in real time and are not stored long-term on our servers. Once your coloring page is generated, the original photo is deleted.
- Payment information — Processed securely through Stripe. We never see, access, or store your full card number, CVV, or billing details. Stripe handles all of that. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- IP address — Collected automatically and used for rate limiting to prevent abuse. We do not use IP addresses for tracking or profiling.
- Basic usage data — Page views and feature usage to help us improve the Service. We plan to use Google Analytics for this purpose.
We use the data we collect to:
- Generate and deliver your coloring pages.
- Process payments and manage your subscription.
- Send you order confirmations and account-related emails.
- Send you marketing emails about new features, tips, and special offers (only with your consent).
- Prevent abuse and protect the security of the Service.
- Improve the Service based on how people use it.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run ColorPaw:
- Google Gemini (AI Processing) — Your uploaded photo is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate the coloring page outline. Google processes the image and returns the result. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe (Payments) — Handles all payment processing. Your payment details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Supabase (Authentication & Database) — Manages your account, login sessions, and stores account-level data (email, subscription status). Supports email and Google OAuth sign-in. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics (Planned) — We plan to use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site so we can make it better. This may collect anonymized usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
When you download your free coloring page, you agree to receive marketing communications from ColorPaw. This includes updates about new features, coloring tips, and special offers. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email. We will always honor your preferences promptly.
ColorPaw uses only essential session cookies needed for the Service to function properly (keeping you logged in, remembering your session). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or any non-essential cookies.
- Uploaded photos: Processed in real time and deleted shortly after your coloring page is generated. Not stored long-term.
- Generated coloring pages: Available for download in your account. Deleted when you delete your account.
- Account data (email, preferences): Retained as long as your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion request.
- Payment records: Retained by Stripe according to their data retention policies and applicable financial regulations.
- IP addresses: Used transiently for rate limiting and not stored in logs long-term.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure third-party integrations, and access controls. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate data in your account.
- Delete your account and associated data by contacting us.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

ColorPaw is designed for use by adults and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
